Why we love it
- The full 24-inch Jumbo size, big enough to use as a pillow
- Official Squishmallows seal, so it's the real deal
- Teal goes with almost any room
- Comes with a name and a bio: Sydney "does it all"
One heads-upThe listing is light on details beyond size and bio, so if you care about fill or weight you're on your own.
Why Sydney is our favorite
We'll admit it: we're mushroom people. Sydney is a big, round, teal toadstool with spots, and it manages to look cozy without shouting for attention. It fits a kid's room, a teenager's bed or a grown-up's sofa equally well.
If you just want one huge Squishmallow and aren't chasing a particular character, this is the one we'd hand you. The bio says Sydney "does it all", which feels about right for something this easygoing. It's also one of the 24-inch Jumbos listed in the maker's own collection.
2Most personality
Squishmallows Original 24-Inch Pierogi Banana Monkey
A banana monkey who is, according to his bio, a plumber and a magician. If that sentence made you grin, Pierogi is your pick.
- Size
- 24 in (Jumbo)
- Brand
- Squishmallows (Jazwares)
- Line
- Original
- Character
- Pierogi, banana monkey
Prices and availability on Amazon change often.
Pros
- Full 24-inch Jumbo size
- Official Squishmallows seal
- The listing promises the ultrasoft 'Mallow fabric fans love
- The best bio of the bunch
Cons
- Heads-up: the listing doesn't say how heavy he is or what's inside
- Pure taste call: monkeys aren't everyone's thing
Why we love it
Why we have a soft spot for Pierogi
Squishmallows are as much about character as cuddles, and Pierogi brings the most character here. A banana monkey with two careers (plumber and magician) is exactly the kind of nonsense that makes these plush so collectible.
He's an official Original Jumbo, and the listing describes the ultrasoft 'Mallow fabric. Pick him for the animal lover, the collector who already has three mushrooms, or anyone who thinks a plush should have a backstory.
3Loudest color
Squishmallows Original 24-Inch Rachel Pink Tie-Dye Mushroom
A pink tie-dye mushroom that doubles as room decor. Subtle she is not, and that's the point.
- Size
- 24 in (Jumbo)
- Brand
- Squishmallows (Jazwares)
- Line
- Original
- Character
- Rachel, pink tie-dye mushroom
Prices and availability on Amazon change often.
Pros
- Full 24-inch Jumbo size
- Official Squishmallows seal
- Pink tie-dye is pure fun
- Ultrasoft 'Mallow fabric
Cons
- Heads-up: no weight or fill details in the listing
- Bright pink won't suit every bedroom, so be honest with yourself
Why we love it
Why we love Rachel
Rachel is the statement piece. Same lovable mushroom shape as Sydney, but in a pink tie-dye that turns a bed into a mood. Her bio says she spends weekends on the water, which feels very on brand.
Get her for the pink fan, the tie-dye fan, or anyone decorating a room around one giant plush. If you love the mushroom shape but want something calmer, Sydney is her quieter sibling.
4For Pokémon fans
Squishmallows Original Pokémon 24-Inch Pikachu Plush
Two of the biggest names in a kid's world in one giant, round, yellow hug. Instant hero status at a birthday party.
- Size

- Pikachu (Pokémon collab)
Prices and availability on Amazon change often.
Pros
- Full 24-inch size
- Official Squishmallows x Pokémon collab
- A character most kids already know and love
- Cheerful yellow brightens any room
Cons
- Heads-up: sold by a third-party seller and stock was marked low when we checked
- Collab plush can sell out fast, so check the listing before you promise it
Why we love it
Why Pikachu made the cut
Some kids want a Squishmallow. Some kids want Pikachu. This one settles the argument. It's the familiar round Squishmallow shape in Pikachu yellow, at the full 24-inch size.
It's the pick we'd reach for when the gift is for a Pokémon fan first and a plush fan second. One thing to know: it was sold by a third-party seller when we checked, not Amazon itself, so look at the seller and stock before ordering.
520-inch: for rainbow and unicorn lovers
Squishmallows Original 20in Ares the Mystical Rainbow Horse
Rainbow mane, magical horse energy, and a size that's a little easier for small arms to carry around the house.
- Size
- 20 in (Jumbo)
- Brand
- Squishmallows (Jazwares)
- Line
- Original
- Character
- Ares, mystical rainbow horse
Prices and availability on Amazon change often.
Pros
- 20-inch Jumbo, a bit lighter to lug around
- Official Squishmallows seal
- Rainbow details kids go wild for
- Comes with its own name and bio
Cons
- Heads-up: this is 20 inches, not 24
- If they already have five unicorns, maybe pick Pierogi
Why we love it
Why we love Ares
Ares is pure daydream fuel: a mystical horse with rainbow colors. It's the one we'd pick for the kid whose drawings are mostly rainbows.
It's a 20-inch Jumbo, so a step down from the 24-inch picks above. For younger kids that can be a plus, because it's still huge but easier to drag from bed to couch to car.
620-inch: the classic cow
Squishmallows Original 20-Inch Caedyn Cream Cow with Pink Spots
Cows are a Squishmallow fan favorite, and Caedyn's cream and pink spots are about as sweet as it gets.
- Size
- 20 in (Jumbo)
- Brand
- Squishmallows (Jazwares)
- Line
- Original
- Character
- Caedyn, cream cow with pink spots
Prices and availability on Amazon change often.
Pros
- 20-inch Jumbo size
- Official Squishmallows seal
- Soft cream and pink look suits any bedroom
- A cow, which in Squishmallow circles is a big deal
Cons
- Heads-up: 20 inches, not 24
- Light colors may need more care around sticky hands
Why Caedyn earned a spot
Ask a Squishmallow fan about cows and you'll get opinions. Caedyn is the gentle version: cream with pink spots, calm enough for a nursery and cute enough for a teenager's bed.
It's a 20-inch Jumbo. Pick it for the cow collector or anyone who wants a soft, pastel plush rather than a loud one.
720-inch: for fruit fans
Squishmallows Original 20-Inch Maui Yellow Pineapple with Green Top
A smiling pineapple the size of a beanbag. Silly, sunny and impossible not to squish.
- Size
- 20 in (Jumbo)
- Brand
- Squishmallows (Jazwares)
- Line
- Original
- Character
- Maui, yellow pineapple
Prices and availability on Amazon change often.
Pros
- 20-inch Jumbo size
- Official Squishmallows seal
- Food characters are a kid favorite
- Bright yellow with a fun green top
Cons
- Heads-up: 20 inches, not 24
- Very yellow, so it's a statement piece
Why Maui made us smile
Food Squishmallows are their own little universe, and a giant pineapple is a great place to start. Maui is bright, round and a little ridiculous, which is exactly the point.
It's a 20-inch Jumbo. Good for the kid who already loves the snack characters, or as a cheerful room mascot.
820-inch: for dog lovers
Squishmallows Original 20in Dustin the Dalmatian with Bowtie
A dalmatian in a bowtie. Dapper, spotty and ready for sleepovers.
- Size
- 20 in (Jumbo)
- Brand
- Squishmallows (Jazwares)
- Line
- Original
- Character
- Dustin, dalmatian with bowtie
Prices and availability on Amazon change often.
Pros
- 20-inch Jumbo size
- Official Squishmallows seal
- Black and white goes with everything
- The bowtie, honestly
Cons
- Heads-up: 20 inches, not 24
- Not a match if they only want mushrooms
Why we like Dustin
Every Squishmallow shelf needs a dog, and Dustin brings the charm with spots and a little bowtie. The black and white look is easy to live with in any room.
It's a 20-inch Jumbo. Our pick for the puppy-obsessed kid who can't have a real one yet.
FAQ
Why kids are obsessed?
If there's a kid in your life, you probably already know: Squishmallows are a playground currency. They're collectible, every one has a name and a bio, and kids swap favorites like trading cards. The numbers back it up too. The Toy Association named Squishmallows its overall Toy of the Year for 2022, and Circana data reported the 16-inch Squishmallow as the top-selling toy of 2022 in the US and Canada.
The 24-inch size is the big one. It's a pillow, a reading buddy and a sleepover guest in one, and it makes an entrance when it comes out of the gift bag. Grown-ups love them too, so don't feel bad if one ends up on your couch.
Which one is for your kid?
There's no wrong answer here. Squishmallows are all about personality, so pick the one that feels like them:
- Cozy and goes anywhere: Sydney.
- Loves a funny backstory: Pierogi.
- Pink and proud: Rachel.
- Pokémon fan: Pikachu.
- Rainbows and unicorns: Ares.
- Animal lover: Caedyn the cow or Dustin the dalmatian.
- Likes silly things: Maui the pineapple.
Younger kids may find a 20-inch easier to carry around. Older kids and collectors usually want the full 24.
A few things to check before you buy?
- The size in the title. Jumbos run from 18 to 24 inches. Our first four picks are 24-inch; the rest are 20-inch, and we say so on each one.
- The official seal. Look for Official Squishmallows and Jazwares as the maker, so you don't end up with a lookalike.
- The seller. Most picks are sold by Amazon. Collabs like Pikachu often come from third-party sellers, so check before you order.
- The bio. Read it with your kid. Half the fun is finding out your mushroom has a weekend job.
What should you skip?
Skip any listing that doesn't say the size in words, because a Jumbo can be smaller than you think. Skip anything without official Squishmallows branding. And trust the title over the photo, since some listings label sizes differently from their pictures.
What's the biggest size of Squishmallow you can get?
The maker's Jumbo collection runs from 18 to 24 inches, so 24 inches is the top of that range. Sydney, Pierogi, Rachel and Pikachu above are all 24-inch. The other four picks are 20-inch Jumbos, in case your kid's favorite character isn't made in 24.
Where can I buy 24 inch Squishmallows?
All eight picks above were listed on Amazon when we checked, mostly sold by Amazon itself. Pikachu came from a third-party seller with low stock. The maker also has its own Jumbo collection. Stock changes by character, so check the listing before you order.
Can you give me a list of 24 inch Squishmallows?
A fan-run wiki category lists 130 characters available as a 24-inch plush, starting with Abilene, Aina, Akina, Alandy and Alexie. The maker's Jumbo collection also lists 24-inch Mister the Gold Dragon and Sydney the Teal Spotted Mushroom. The 24-inch picks on this page are Sydney, Pierogi, Rachel and Pikachu.
Are there 24 inch Jumbo Squishmallows available?
Yes. Sydney, Pierogi and Rachel are 24-inch Original Jumbo Squishmallows sold by Amazon, and Pikachu is a 24-inch Pokémon collab from a third-party seller. All were listed when we checked. Popular characters come and go, so if one is gone, a 20-inch Jumbo is a good backup.
How much do 24 inch Squishmallows cost?
Prices vary by character and seller and change over time, so use the live price shown next to each pick above. Amazon's price can differ from the maker's own regular price for the same size, so compare before buying.
How big is a 24 inch Squishmallow?
A 24-inch Squishmallow is the largest size in the maker's Jumbo range, which starts at 18 inches. The maker describes these as larger-than-life plush that make a bed bestie. That makes it big enough to hug like a pillow.
